Hi all! I'm about to start ******** tomorrow and I'm excited and nervous. I've been overweight my whole life and tried almost everything. I'm 43, with high blood pressure, bad back, depression, and now pre-diabetic. My 3 children are my inspiration for this as I'd like to be around for my youngest two who just turned 9 and 6. As of tonight my weight is 256 and I'm 5'6". My goal is to sneak under 200 lbs. I'm ready to be a healthy role model to my girls! I'm optimistic that I can find support and encouragement from the rest of you and I'll be glad to do the same!
You CAN do this. Good for you for making a start. Keep your head up and don't give up. Your children should be an excellent inspiration --- and hopefully doing it for yourself will be as well. Best of luck.
