I hope it's ok for me to put this here - I tried to make a blog but it says they are unavailable? But I like it in the forum so hope thats ok.
I have been here before, last year I think, and never got anywhere. I'm the typical yoyo dieter, with a bit of binging and everything in between. I've been hovering at about the same weight for ages now, and really want to just lose some finally! So hoping that a blog/log here will keep me on track. Support welcome!!
However, just a quick word of warning: I take fat burners. Now I know a lot of people are really against them, and rightly so. I imagine they're not very good for you. However they are the only thing that's helped me actually lose weight over the past couple of months. The reason I put weight back on, it when I stop taking them and let my eating go downhill. I stopped taking them last time because of the side effects: when exercising, they make me feel kinda dizzy and a bit sick. I know - not ideal, but the thing is.. they work!!! So have come to the decision that I am going to just deal with the side effects, in order to loose some weight. In my book, the pros totally and completely outweigh the cons. So I know that this blog might not be for everyone, therefore a word of warning before anyone reads any further.
Apart from that, I'm going to be trying to eat a healthy, whole foods diet whilst watching my sugar and carb intake. Although nightmare today - I'm going out for a meal with friends later! But I'm going to try not to fall into my old 'I'm going to mess my diet up later anyway might as well eat what I want now' ways and be healthy for the day! So I've just had a mushroom and chicken omelette with organic eggs and a small bit of cheese. Going to try and get 3l of water in today, then going to the gym after work. Will have a check of the menu later and try and pick the healthiest option. Does anyone else get the obtrusive thought 'I'm paying for this food at this resterant, I deserve something good/fattening/unhealthy!'? How the mind boggles!
