I'm intrigued by so called anti-inflammation diets after hearing that an MD prescribed one to his patient to help with allergies (hay fever) - and it worked for her. But the concept "anti-inflammation" seems kind of vague. For many of these diets, weight-loss isn't the primary goal but rather a probable side-effect. (Weight loss is my primary goal.)
I found this article that seemed informative:

I looked into a few "anti-inflammatory" diets and several seemed to emphasize whole foods and clean eating. So perhaps "anti-inflammatory" is just a catch phrase.
Anyone try any of these diets? What about Dr. Sears' Zone diet? His latest book is The Mediterranean Zone. I don't see a lot of talk about the Zone diets here on 3 fat chicks. I know its been around for awhile but its one diet I've never looked into before.
