Default Goal reached. 2015, here I come.

Fall of 2012, I wanted to make a change in my life. I was tired of being the "fat friend." Family members can be so ruthless at times with endless nabs here and there. Every criticism pushed me to keep moving and keep pushing myself. In 2013, I was determined to meet that goal. I would push myself to exercise daily and to eat healthy blocking out any of the "bad" influences. The naysayers and the crap pushers. The people who wanted to slow down my progress because it made them look bad. Did I want to do those things? Nope. I just liked the end result.

Moreover, I chased after my goals because I was motivated to change my life around. I was motivated to keep at it through sweat and tears because I WANTED it so BAD. Sometime in 2014, I lost sight of my goals and started making excuses. I started having more "flexible" eating and started pseudo exercising. By pseudo exercising, I mean that I would just walk around instead of doing strength training or core exercises that would make me sweat and cry because it was so hard. A few months passed, and the weight started coming back. It's still not as bad as before because I've still retained some of my "lifestyle changes" but I did gain the majority of the weight back (just a bit more toned now).

It's going to be 2015 soon and I'm ready to fight for the body that I want. I wanted it so bad that first time because I had something to prove. But I lost sight of it because I thought that I had nothing to prove once I've reached it and people said that I was at a good weight. I thought that this was the end of my journey and started slacking off. But you know what? This time, I'm gonna prove that I can KEEP it off because I want it BAD. Everyone says that they want to lose weight, but how determined are you to get to it?

And so my fitness journey begins again. Just wanted to share my story because maybe someone will be motivated. The goal is to not let a few months ruin your progress. DO NOT GIVE UP! I've had a few bad months, so what? I'm back at it. Let's all work towards our goal for 2015!

Welcome! And best wishes for 2015. We're all right there with you.

Hope this year is great for you, for staying on track or getting back on track.
I'm not really sure how you were the "fat friend" - all these photos look great to me. But I can tell there's a big difference and you really changed your shape quite a lot.

You can do it again, because you're obviously amazing.
