CeeJay and ClassyKaren, the two biggest tips I could ever give are that the people of this forum are amazing when it comes to support, knowledge and sharing experiences. I honestly wonder if I might've given up already if I hadn't found them.
Second, without My Fitness Pal I would not be this far along. Since I joined in October I've lost a total of 21 lbs using it so far. That's considerably more than I ever accomplished on my own in the same time period. It's really taught me to pay attention to the calories, sodium, etc totals of what I eat. I still eat whatever I like, but I try to make that favorite candy bar or meat with high sodium, etc fit into my daily counts so my weight loss doesn't suffer so much. I admit I had a couple days here and there of stress eating and derailed myself by about a week before I was back on track weight wise, but even so I still managed to lose that. I hope that even a small portion of this helps. <3
