Default Planning to restart in January

Hi IP'ers, I followed the IP protocol for 3 months about 3 years ago and am committed to trying it again this year. I'm a Hypothyroid, Type 2 Diabetic, with no gallbladder and the last time I did this I lost inches like crazy, but didn't lose a ton of weight. I lost 10lbs. the first two weeks, and then less than a pound a week for the next 8 weeks, but I just shrank, it was so strange. My lipid panel at the end of the first month was fantastic and my blood pressure normalized within 2 weeks.
I am going to try the diet again with a new clinic, and with the specific goal in mind of kicking the diabetes to the curb.
Anyone else out there with similar circumstances, or planning on starting the diet in the new year? Actually, I'm planning on starting December 26th.

My a1c had just gone from pre-diabetic to diabetes level this summer, which was the impetus for me starting IP. After 90 days, my sugar levels (long term and fasting) were normal and I came off my blood pressure meds. So, IP works on the blood sugar!
