Default 29 Pounds Gone...131 Pounds To Go

I try to lose 20 pounds each month. I've been on my journey since Jan. of this year. I hope in two months I'll be even closer to my goal but I doubt it, Its coming off so slowly. I had hoped that after a year I would at goal by now but I should of known I couldnt lose 150 pounds in a year but I'll keep trying.

Congratulations on your success so far! You're going to end this year lighter than you started, and that is something to celebrate girlie!

Congrats on the progress. I too want to lose 150 in a year. You don't need to lose 20 pounds a month to make it happen. That adds up to 240lbs. You only need to lose 12.5lbs per month. Roughly 3lbs per week, which is my goal.

Maybe if you break it down into smaller goals, it may seem more realistic. Losing 3lbs a week sounds much easier than 150lbs in a year, even though it works out to be the same. Just a suggestion. I hope to make as much progress as you have. Great job.

That's so wonderful Terra!! Don't be so hard on yourself. Losing weight can't always be done on a schedule. Our bodies are all so different and work on their own terms no matter how hard we try sometimes. Unfortunately.
