I have a bad sweet tooth! I need something sweet EVERY DAY. Has anyone got any ideas for healthy sweet things/desserts besides fruit? You know, something that won't wreck my entire calorie deficit. Lol
My sister swears by cottage cheese with a little sweetener and fresh blueberries. She has it every night as a snack. She likes strawberries with it too.
It is really good. Sorry, I just realised you said no fruit. How about mini candy bars. Or bake up chocolate mini cupcakes and freeze most of them. That way you have to only pull out what you want to eat. Sorry I don't have much a sweet tooth. My problem is salty snacks.
I like a little honey or maple syrup here and there. I add them to plain greek yogurt with a little something that gives a crunch (usually hemp seeds and cacao nibs). Otherwise if you're on the go, my favourite bars are Larabars. They are super clean (sweetened with dates) but pretty high in calories (about 200 something) so I would eat those sparingly.
I know you're not into fruit but I would also give dried fruit a go. They are full of fibre and naturally sweet. My favourites are apricots, figs, cranberries and mangoes.
Dried pineapple to me tastes like gum drops -- in fact, a lot of dried fruit like that tastes like candy to me. If you're a candy fiend, why not try that instead of eating skittles/starbursts/gummies/etc?
As for dessert type things, I usually opt for 100 calorie pack sweet snacks or get low-cal frozen treats. If you're into baking and whatnot, pineapple angel food cake is good - just throw in a can of crushed pineapple with boxed angel food cake mix and bake according to the package directions. This also works with pumpkin puree and spice/carrot cake, diet soda with regular cake mix (i.e. clear sodas = white/yellow cake, dark sodas = brownies/chocolate cake). I've done all of this before and they usually turn out alright. Give it a go!
I like Walden Farms caramel dip and chocolate dip. They are zero calories and really help if I'm having a sweet craving. The chocolate one tastes kind of like pudding and I really like it
I like semi-sweet chocolate chips. They don't tempt me the way having "real" chocolate or desserts in the house would, and it's only 70 calories for a serving. They satisfy the chocolate craving very well.
I also keep fat free frozen yogurt around (80-120 cal for 1/2 cup) and fiber one brownies (90 cal).

Some people like date nut balls. I tried making them before and they are very candy like but I just prefer a piece of fruit. Also a frozen date with a nut or two stuffed inside would be a lazy way but is also sweet but not fruit like. I know dates are fruit but they are the sweetest one there is (I think). Also, compared to candy, you'd at least be getting fiber and some nutrients.
