Default Does anyone experience weight loss 'patterns' at their WI's?

My WI today I am only down 1lb and that's with me staying OP. My WI exactly a month ago I was only down 1.2 lbs. I am losing inches though and I'm trying to not let it get me discouraged. Looking at my WI history, it looks like a pattern may be forming. It could be hormonal, but my TOM isn't scheduled to hit for another couple weeks (unless I have a surprise and it comes earlier than expected).

My coach said she had a client who would have a 3-4 lb loss one week and the next week he would lose around 1lb. She said it never failed, he would come in and be like "this is my 1lb week" and he would get on the scale and it would be right at a lb. Then the next week he would be down 3-4 lbs again.

I was just wondering if anyone else sees a 'pattern' in their WI's with their weight loss?

I tend to get ovarian cysts....and I found that my weight would not drop as much during ovulation week, especially if I was having a lot of ovarian pain (not severe, mind you). I would notice extra bloat and belly tenderness then also. It hasn't happened every month. Our bodies are stubborn things!

I definitely have a pattern. I will have a big loss then a week or two of small loses. It's like my body hangs on to it as long as it possibly can and then drops it over night! literally. I know that I am doing everything right and staying 100% OP with NO cheats so I know that it will eventually have to come off. How could it not?!!

I agree our bodies are stubborn! Hoping for a decent loss next week. 170ish is about my average weight that I am at before I decide to lose. I haven't been under 160 in 5 years. So it will be interesting getting to and past that plateau.

When I was younger and fitter and trying to loose a few pounds... I used to look forward to the week after TOM. That was my golden week when I would see the biggest drops.

I am currently alternating low losses with bigger losses. Last week was -.8, this week was -2.8. Definitely taking longer to get those pounds of the lower I go.

Keep it up, pishposh. The client my coach told me about has lost over 60 lbs with his alternating week losses!

Yes there is a pattern with me, usually 2 weeks of losing 1 lb a week then the 3rd week i drop 7 or 8 lbs. I'm on that week now and very happy :P. Thats why they say you just gotta stick with it

I mentioned this before - but -

How horrified would you feel IF you gained during your TOM? I gain 2 pounds that week - even staying OP.

I used to have my coach get upset about that (I skew their average that week) but the week following - I lose about 6-7 lbs.

PS my cycle is 21 days not the normal 28 and being on this diet makes it last 10 days

One pattern I do notice is that when I go OFF plan, my weight goes up!
