Question Are you exercising too??

If so...what are you doing?
Do you think it's helped in the weight loss?

If you aren't exercising...are you still losing?

I'm doing weight training now..hopefully will start walking again...

I'm sooooo addicted to this board!!!

Didi, I joined the Y last fall, and have been trying to go about 3 times a week for a combination cardio and weight workout. I haven't had much time for exercising since starting SB, but I'm hoping to get back to the Y on a more regular basis soon.
I DID buy myself a pedometer, and I love it! I'm much more active than I used to be.

Any kind of exercise will help. My very wise doctor told me not to start an exercise program that I didn't plan on doing the rest of my life so I walk 2 miles a day weather permiting and ride my stationary bike 10 miles when I can't walk. I also do free weights every other day but only about 15 minutes.

Hi! I walk 2 miles at least 5 days a week, I've been lifting weights for 2 months now and I've started doing aerobics. Since I started the aerobics a couple of weeks ago the pounds have started to melt off again.

Default I'm easing into it...

I'm starting to walk every day (with my dogs, so this new way of life will benefit them also). Since I'm just getting started with SBD, as well as my new walking program, I don't have any positive benefits to report yet, but I'm sure I will soon!

I belong to curves but have not been this summer, I much prefer to do somtething outside during the nice weather. I live near the beach so me and my pooch "Reggie" take walks along the beach.

Honestly I don't exercise as much as I should. I'm gonna have to work on that.

I am like Susan, and did not want to start an exercise program I couldn't stick with. I waited until I lost 20 lbs, and then began using one of Leslie Sansone's Walk Off Weight videos. I exercise for 20 minutes, 3 days per week, and hope to increase that to 40 mintues.

Thumbs down

Good for all you walkers.

My 76 year young mom and I do Tai Chi.

I do a stair stepper and a Power Rider and some weights.

1-2-3 we can do it.

Windsong, that's beautiful that you do Tai Chi with your Mom!
I work out with my Mom, too. She's 78, and she's in GREAT shape. She's my inspiration.

Congratulations to all of you exercising babes!!

I exercise five days a week (M-F) - I'm at the gym by 6a.m. and that's the best time for me - I'm on automatic pilot going there and just getting it done! I use the cross trainer on level 19 for 45 min - Wednesdays I take a Pilates mat class and Fridays it's Haatha Yoga.

I'll be away for two weeks and will be doing lots of walking then.

Back to the gym when I return!

It's awesome that you guys can exercise with your mothers! Mine was a great believer in exercise too.

I've had great results from the exercise - my clothes fit better and I rarely have pains in my knee (I have a tilted knee cap!).

Keeping to a routine is the key, for me, anyway.
