Fit bit and Jawbone UP very helpful tools in your weight goals
I walked through my grand kids school last week and noticed a lot of teachers wearing these on their wrists. They're getting very popular for those wanting to keep track of their calories and daily activity, (people wanting to lose weight)
So of course, I read all the reviews and most love them, and say they are accurate. They count the steps you do during the day, can even monitor your sleep. Anyway, you can wear them on your wrist or clip it to your bra or pants where it can't be seen. Your choice.
They work with IPhones, androids and smart phones, and they sync with free apps for calorie counters. A very easy way to track what you're doing during the day, and how many calories, fat calories, carbs you're consuming. You just enter your profile when you start it up along with your goal weight and it tells you how many calories to eat.
These nifty little devices sell from anywhere to $60.00 to $130.00 and can be purchased on line or at Best Buy. I just bought my Jawbone UP and can tell from looking at my phone that I am O.K to eat another 113 calories today. I won't eat those calories because it says if I keep this up I will lose 4 pounds in 5 weeks.
That's pretty cool for me to know because I've only got 6 pounds to go to hit my goal weight. And when I hit it, I am still going to keep wearing it, and use my calorie app to keep it off.
Anyway for those of you with iPhones, smart and androids, what an easy way to keep you motivated.
