Default New miracle diet!!!! (not recommended)

so this week i happened upon a miracle diet that made me lose 7lbs in one week. It was purely by chance and i hope it never happens again - i had a kidney infection! who knew they could be so bad?

I've only had one kidney infection in my life and that was more than enough!

Hope you'll be feeling better soon; take good care!

Rechyl - oh, kidney infections are SO bad! My daughter recently had one and it almost landed her in the hospital. She said it really kicked her you-know-what.

I'm not at all surprised that you had such a significant weight loss. Not the best way to lose it, that's for sure.

I trust you will have a full recovery. Feel better soon!

Bad break-ups always worked well for me but UTI's and kidney infections suck too. I dread UTI's more than any illness.

Stress is a big one for me. Luckily (in some ways), I don't get stressed out very easily. I'm a very laid-back person.

However, when I started my first position in my field, I was so stressed and worried that I wouldn't do well that I couldn't eat and lost ten pounds in three days. I gained some, but not all, of that back within the next week.

I just got my first UTI, I think. The symptoms disappeared for two days and showed up together with TOM. So I can't get tested before Friday. I was starting to freak out that I'll get a kidney infection by then but thanks to you, I'm now excitedly looking forward to it! Thanks!

Honestly, this sounds awful and I hope you feel better! I lost at least 8 pounds when I got strep throat. I started dieting as soon as I started feeling better and I didn't gain the weight back. Hopefully, it will stick for you, too.

thanks all for your well wishes.
I do feel a lot better but was back at work today so im really tired. weight was still down this morning and then i realised TOM is due so it might even be more than the 7 i thought once TOM is out the way.
Still dont feel like eating much as feel sick and get the shakes after eating but im going to at least have some ham and cheese roll-ups - laughing cow in ham.

Oh, no Rechyl! I'm glad you're on the mend now.

I've also experienced weight loss from various different maladies (more recently, an 8 pound loss while dealing with sinus/ear infection), and to be honest, almost every time it has turned into motivation for me to lose even more weight. I hope you're able to keep it off and more. It sucks not feeling well, but if you can somehow turn it into a positive, then do it.

so the weights gone down a little further/ not surprising since im still not eating properly because im feeling sick all the time. 1 sandwich a day is not healthy.

Should it still be this bad almost 2 weeks in?
