We're nearing the end of April and I'm talking to myself LOL

I managed to pull out a 6:58 mile this month. I'm signed up for a 1/2 marathon on May 17th and am really looking forward to a good time.

For anyone who is interested, runkeeper ran a short story on me:

Hope there are others out there running!

Nice article! You look great, and I'm totally jealous of your almost-7:00 mile. I'm lucky if I can maintain 12-minute miles right now, heh. I'm almost done with c25k, so I may join you in the 'running' thread next month, if you want some company.

I'm running!

I'm a recent "graduate" of C25K. Currently running 3 miles a couple days a week. My next goal is to be able to run 5 miles, then 10 and eventually I would love to be able to run a half marathon

I have been mostly running on a treadmill but I'm starting to run outside a little now that I can run more than 3 min at a time without stopping and I'm not as embarrassed for people to see me run

I have noticed that on the treadmill I run at a slower pace than outside. I run around a 13 min mile, but outside my pace is right around a 10 min mile. This really surprised me as I feel like I can't run any faster on the treadmill without falling off and I don't feel like I'm going that much faster when I run outside. Obviously I like my outside running time a lot better!
