Default Recent Metastatic Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Hi all, so happy to have found this forum, I'm excited to jump on the wagon and begin losing some excess weight in order help me get back on track.
I was recently diagnosed with MBC after my arm broke in Jan 2014.
Fast forward to today, March 7, 2014 and I am on the mend after extensive surgery to repair by plating, screwing and cementing my arm together.
Currently in a Herceptin infusion regimen and after climbing on the scale 10-15 times in the last couple of months it is evident that I need to drop some excess weight.

So here I go. I am keeping a food diary, cutting unnecessary carbs and empty calories and making a concerted effort to eat lots more veg, fruit and whole grains.
