Default Two Years

It just dawned on me earlier this evening - today is my anniversary.
Two years ago, on the last day of February, I set out on this journey. And I'm still traveling, moving forward. Despite everything. Some days even despite myself. To me, that's just astonishing, and amazing. In all of my previous, and admittedly few, weightloss journeys, I never came this far. I would wander to the edges of what I thought was my comfort zone - and then turn around and go right back. Not this time. This time I'm more adventurous, I'm exploring uncharted territory; and I'm loving it. Mostly
The days when I put one foot in front of the other despite myself, they keep getting fewer and fewer. I'm still committed and determined, and oftentimes even excited about what I might discover just around the next corner.
The number on the scale is almost merely a side effect now, almost
Although I guess the saying is true "a year from now, you'll be glad you started today".

Anyway, I better get off my soapbox and use the opportunity to thank you all. I have come to this site for the past year now, and it has been a great help. You guys are awesome "travel buddies"
So thank you! Here's to the next months and pounds!

Congratulations on your progress! Way to stay in it for the long haul!

I passed the 2 year anniversary of my latest weight loss effort in early January. Honestly, it just slipped by! But, it's something to celebrate! I'm not where I really want to be, yet, but at least I haven't bounced back up.

There's something to be said about just hanging in there! YAY!!
