Anyone else find the fat jokes offensive?

I'm not a sensitive person. When the topic of Shallow Hal came up years ago on this board, I said (and still think) its not an offensive movie. Other sitcoms have fat jokes, I've never found them in bad taste...

But wow, Super Fun Night, the fat jokes aren't remotely funny, they are like grade school bully humor...They actually remind me of being bullied as a kid.

Hubby agrees, that the fat humor in this show is just cruel and repulsive....and again, he and I are not sensitive about our weight...we crack jokes about our weight to each other, and between other over weight friends...its very rare for us to be offended..

Anyone else see this sitcom and feel this way?

I totally agree! The jokes are just mean. I am really surprised and disappointed. I love Rebel Wilson but this role was not a good one. I find the humor mostly awkward and the jokes mean.

I don't think it's offensive but the humor is juvenile. I think the Mindy Show does a much better at the weight jokes (though the actress on that show is not fat in my opinion slightly chubby if anything).
