Default How will you reward yourself when you reach your goal???

I'll start!

When I reach my goal I plan to reward myself with an annual membership to my favorite yoga studio. DH promised me all new yoga gear (mat, blocks etc.)

Oooh, that sounds like fun. I'd like a new outfit right now though. Do I have to wait? LOL

I've bounced this idea around a LOT.
Mostly I think the biggest thing I can do for myself is to MAINTAIN.
I've celebrated on the way down.

Sage advice...I advise celebrating ALL the small victories....that should be a habit for maintenance AND part of the new lifestyle.

We are worth it.....ask your spouse, kids or the cat!

I have "rewards" along the way but my ultimate reward at goal is a huge side tattoo (from hip to breast). It'll be a phoenix rising up from ashes - symbolize a new beginning.

cheeriloos - what a great calendar of treats that is - you have obviously put a lot of thought into it!

I have small goals with small rewards, but I do want to come up with a really specific one for when I enter Onderland. You inspire me to think of something unusual and meaningful...needs some thought.

After that, I would have 40 more to go. I want to maintain more than anything else at that point and will allow myself to contemplate a Nordstrom Rack shipping trip AFTER I have maintained for about 6 months.

My reward at goal will be to get on a plane (no squeezing into a seat with an embarrassed red face at my neighbor) and fly to a family wedding with siblings who have not seen me at anything remotely near my goal weight in over 25 years!

At 20lbs I ordered two new suits for work.
25 is fast approaching (hopefully this weigh in on Thursday) so I'm having my truck detailed inside and out
30lbs will be by Halloween and my treat was/is my sexy costume
Then no rewards till 50lbs- Spa day I think
60 is goal -Haven't decided but I agree with Lisa Maintain, Maintain, Maintain!

my mom decided to give me a $50 gift card to Macy's or Dillards for every 20lbs. I thought that was very sweet of her and I love reporting my losses each week to her because she's so excited about them. It's nice to have that family support!

I believe, once I reached my goal weight, I will reward myself with a cellulite treatment! It is just a big maybe for now since I need to see how will my body change.

I plan on rewarding myself with a new leather jacket. It is hard to find large size jackets and now I know I can find a cute little black jacket.

and.....a cute little black dress for the Christmas party.

What a fun thread!! I need to come up with some great goal treats for myself. Like some others around here, new clothes are starting to become a priority, though I keep telling myself that until my pants fall off (for my work suits, sheesh are they expensive!), I'm going to hold out. I've got a suit that's two sizes smaller than what I wear now, and I cannot WAIT!! to get into it... ohh... maybe I'll pull it out this weekend and see how close I am. That'll be some good motivation!

You guys are soo inspiring! Thanks for sharing so much!

I kept all my big clothes until I hit goal. Sold them all off on a facebook auction site for BBW $1-$7 dollars at a time and with that money bought a white gold sapphire ring for my ring hand ring finger. (I had a lot of clothes LOL) I eat with my right hand so I see it EVERYDAY, even wore it for my wedding. If it's tight, I have work to do. Stretchy jeans never did me any favours!

I also gave myself a thumb ring for the 100 lbs mark. I engraved it with "100 lbs gone forever".

I didn't really reward myself with very much along the way because I had decided I would give myself something "BIG" at the end. It's a lot of work and apparently I'll work very hard for jewelry LOL.

I haven't thought about rewarding myself until recently. My big reward is going to be hiring a personal trainer for when I phase off.

However, every day I reward myself with my restricted treat at the end of the day for dessert. I wait all day and tell myself it will be so worth it! lol. I know it is part of my daily protocol to have it but I treat it like a little reward waiting for me after dinner.

I have rewarded my DH with some very nice new lingerie too.
