Hi sarahBell it's not a terrible thing if you have 4 pkts today so long as at least 3 of them are non-restricted. Otherwise, maybe have a little more protein, a hard boiled egg or, some people divide their 8 oz of protein between lunch and dinner. Perhaps that would help? It's hard not to focus on food but sooner or later, something will click and you'll realize that you aren't affected by the hunger pangs anymore because eventually, they subside and go away! Try drinking more H20, have some herbal tea with a dash of cinnamon (just got that tip) and distract yourself in other ways FAR AWAY from the kitchen. If these tricks don't help, then, keep reading all of the various threads and you will find something that does the trick. Good luck, you can do it. Sending strength your way!

Love the dust and thank you for it. We are running out of meat so it is a run to restaurant depot for more. I did drink abt 130 oz of water but like I said no tea and cinnamon and that did it LOL.

Good job, you can do it! I just told someone else about your tea and cinnamon idea. Yay you!

Default Hunger is GOOD!

The fact that you are extra hungry is actually great news! I have found that hunger almost always precedes a significant loss on the scale. Whenever I get that desperate hungry feeling, I imagine my body telling me, "You better feed me something right now or I will have no choice to but to let go of some of this fat I've been saving up."

If I white knuckle it through the night and don't give in to the hunger, I usually have a good enough loss that I can see and feel it the next day.

Dudes and Dudettes ... I regularly had 4 packets at the start and sometimes still do (read: yesterday). I just make sure that I keep them in the lower-carb end of things. Be good to yourself!
