Default Water

I am 370 pounds and have high blood pressure.

I tried dieting 3 times this month and every time my blood pressure went up a ton so I stopped and went back to my old ways. Eating bad lots pop juice.

When I diet no pop or juice and for some reason I thought 2 liters water a day was enough.

I started googleing water and found 8 glasses by government but 1/2 body weight by others. Now I can not drink half my weight that is 185 ounces daily sounds too much.

I want to try dieting again and was wondering if anyone had experience with bp going up or know that 2 liters a day is way too low for me as I found dehydration can cause high blood pressure or at least make it rise.

Thanks for any and all help.

This sounds like a question for a doctor. I don't know what you mean by "dieting" but I it's hard to imagine that stopping sugary beverages would have that affect on your bp. Can you tell us more about what you're eating? Are you exercising at all? Are you eating too much salt?
