I noticed my belly seemed not quite so puffy a couple of days ago, and I was able to wear a pair of my favorite jeans in a size smaller yesterday, so I was happy with that regardless of the number on the scale.
Now I am just trying to get mentally prepared for a drastic slow down in weight loss result next week. But hey, as long as I am feeling good, I am sticking with it.

Awesome !! Great way to start the weight loss and remember that as long as you are losing... it is what counts no matter how little or big the wieght loss is !
Thanks everyone! Kelli, my favorites are the strawberry wafer cookies (restricted), herb and cheese omelet, salt and vinegar ridges, the vanilla pudding, orange drink, and blueberry/cranberry drink. My counselor gave me a nice variety of things to try this first week, and I would say the only thing I just absolutely did NOT like was the butterscotch pudding. But that was just my tastebuds I guess.
I had something last night I have to share though. I had some turnip "fries" with my turkey patty last night and they were so awesome!!!!
I have never in my life had turnips, so I was skeptical, but all I did was peel one, cut it up in strips, and shake them in a bag with olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder. I baked them for 10 minutes on each side (20 min total) at about 400 degrees. They were divine!
