I'm signed up for the Color Run in StL this September. It will be my first 5k and I couldn't be more excited!

Oh how I wish I was brave enough to sign up for the one in STL also....I've never done a 5K and it's definitely a mini-goal of mine. This looks like so much fun. I run very slow right now and I know I'd have to work up to 3 miles.

I'm also not a "20-something"....just saw this thread in new posts

I run like a turtle, but it's one of my "mini-goals" and I am going to do it! Even if I run slow, I run and that's pretty incredible! You should sign up, thnkthin1!

I want to so badly! But none of my friends are into running or anything, I'm kind of doing this whole "getting in shape" thing on my own, and I'm not one to do something like this by myself lol. Boo.

Thanks Pupmom! I'll seriously consider it, I'd love to actually do it. Just need to muster up the courage and train

BTW I'm originally a GC girl myself! Small world!

I had signed up for the one in Dallas, it was supposed to be may 10th which was the sat following my last final for the semester. The fairpark double booked and it was canceled and never rescheduled

I'm in the same boat. None of my friends are working toward a health goal and it's kinda a lonely journey.

I am doing the Run or Dye 5k in SF on the 6th of this month. I think, besides the running, it will be a lot of fun.

I was signed up for it June 29 but due to the flooding here in Calgary, it is postponed until August 3. Unfortunately, I'm not even in the continent at that time (will be on a 3 week vacation to East Asia).

They won't be refunding me my money for the sign up fee The best they could do for me is to transfer my money over and register me for the 2014 race.

I was so excited to see that "Colour Run" had jumped across the pond to the UK and I have signed up for one in September! I did my first 5k on Sunday and only managed to run the first 3k before having to give in and walk, by September that 5k isn't gonna know what's hit it!

i feel like i should probably go ahead and sign up/register for this (there is one here in october), because...if i go ahead and pay for registration, that will give me motivation to keep running regularly until the race, right? RIGHT? RIGHT?!? hahah

alabama - I think that is totally a good idea. Great incentive to keep running!

I wish I were doing a colour run! But unfortunately there aren't any close enough on a date I can do. BUT I did just sign up for a 2km obstacle course that should be fun.
