Exclamation Swollen/itchy hands during workout

I was working out this evening (Leslie Sansone walk at home) and my hands just started swelling and got red and starting itching like crazy.
Has this ever happened to any of you??? The itching finally stopped after about an hour but my hands STILL feel swollen and chunky and it feels really strange. What the heck is this from?

Water! this happens to me every single time i work out. or walk long distances. especially if it's a little warmer out. it's super annoying. this only thing i have found that help is to pick up a few small rocks or little balls and move them around in my hands the entire time i'm working out. keeps the circulation going!

Happens to me, sometimes in my feet too. Definitely water weight - I know I'm consuming too much sodium when this happens.

Me too, move your hands, squeeze them constantly and it will lessen but it always happens to me!

This happened to me until I stopped eating gluten :/. Grains really make me retain water. It never happens anymore.

Thank you all for your input, I never realized it could be that & I'll definitely be paying more attention to it now. I really should reduce the amount of sodium I'm taking in

This only happened to me when the conditions were really hot, when I'd go for power walks outdoors like 20 minutes in that would happen.

I do most of my workouts indoors now I just like it better, works for me best

And now I don't have the problem at all

Wow! I totally thought I was strange. This happens to me 95% of the time. I am glad to know that this is somewhat common.
