I did IP 2 years ago and was on phase one when I took a break and then got pregnant! I was doing well maintaining the 3 months until then. Not the longest time but better than I'd ever done before. I nursed for a year and literally just stopped. I started this morning.
I'm so excited to get my body back! I gained weight during pregnancy and wasn't one of those girls that lose weight while nursing which was a bummer but in the end it was one more year of being a chubby kid so not the end of the world.
I have so many cute clothes in my closet I can't wait to get back into!
You have the best reason to have taken a break ! What a blessing to have a little one ...and congrats on Breastfeeding your little one and giving that special Mommy milk

Welcome back. I found with both kids that I had to have a high carb diet in order to produce milk. Low carbing would sink my milk supply within a couple days so I'd just have to stop entirely if I wanted to keep nursing.
It was like that for me too. I'm really proud of us making a whole year though! I only nursed my girls for just a couple weeks and even then it was off and on.
I'm back!
