Default Scale recommendations?

My scale is officially finished. It used to weigh one pound to heavy now it's 2 AND I just stepped on it after going to the bathroom and SOME HOW weighed a pound more than before the bathroom! I am so pissed with it. Any scale recommendations?

Does it need new batteries? Mine acts totally wonky if I need new batteries.

I didn't try that! I'll try that this weekend and see if it works-if not I will have to pick a new scale. Thanks you two!

Tried the battery thing-didn't work. But then again our scale is 1 and a half years old. Bought a new scale-weighed to heavy-returned it. Bought another new scale... realized it's not the scale it's the flooring of our house. lol When we move it it weighs different. So we kept it. But the old scale had to go-too many problems. Thanks for the help you two!

I live in a 75 year old house and have the same problem! I'm not sure any of the floors in my house are level. I get a little OCD about where the scale is on the floor. It has to be matched up perfectly square with the hardwood each time it's used or the pounds are off and I lose my mind. lol

Y'all need to get a decent scale. The popular EatSmart one on Amazon is the only way to go.

Consistency in my 63 year old home with hardwood floors!

I'll second the eat smart one, my apartment is really old too and it works just fine.

Thanks guys we are going to buy an eat smart one. My mom has amazon prime so it'll be here Tuesday. Till then we are keeping this scale and subtracting the weight that it's off by-we weigh a 41.6 pound thing of water.

I didn't spend a lot of money on mine but that sucker is dead on. I am very anal about my weight to the ounce. I have level tile floors so that helps too.

Oh, the Docs office put me at 4p heavier. I told him he should recalibrate because his was off (see my pic for proof that I took the same day) and he made some snarky comment. FFS, the thing gets used all day, everyday by various people.

Everyone dreads the Doc's scale because of "accuracy" but I debunked that theory.

Okay funny thing... My scale came today! And it came with this tool! At first I was like "What the heck is this-a remote or something???" Then I figured out it's a measuring tool so I can measure my waist bust hips and stuff! Immediately I was like "Okay this is an accurate scale" without weighing XD THEN I weighed.... after drinking 2 pounds of green tea and 1 pound of water in one hour i stepped on it and weighed 176! The old scale-well it misweighed my clothing AND kept jumping numbers grrr... THIS EATSMART SCALE IS DEF ACCURATE! Can't wait for morning!
