Naming the Scale - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

You know people name their cars and their boats - I think I'm going to name my scale.

We're becoming pretty close these days so I think it's time to give him a name.

Him? Her? Not quite sure yet but I'll let you know what I decide.

Anyone else want to name their scale?

Well that didn't take long:

I decided my scale is a "he" and his name is Nathaniel, or Nate for short.

Nathaniel is Hebrew for Gift of God and I've always liked that name since I took a class in Hebrew back in the 90's. So there we have it!

Love it!! I will have to think of a name for mine... Hmmmmm.... Maybe Fred? For Right Said Fred (aka, I'm too sexy for my scale???)----YEP, Fred is it!!!

My husband and I name our cars too!! My car's name is Ruby, my last car was Black Beauty.

Oh wow. I name my cars, journals, cows, etc. but never thought to name my scale. If I liked it more, I might be inclined to name it but right now it's not being my friend. When it's nice to me, then it can get named.

Mmm, I will have to think about this and I have 2 that I use, lol, though one more than the other.

Well, that did not take long either, LOL. For some reason, the Star Trek geek in me just took over.

Black one that I use more often will be Neelix (from voyager) because sometimes he annoys me, and sometimes I just love the heck outta him.

I don't think I will be naming the other one.

Like an old lady who doesn't hesitate to tell you exactly how it is! ("You look fat today, dear.") But she can also be unexpectedly sweet and give you a kiss on the cheek. ("I'm so proud of you, sweetie!") Egads, not only did I name it but I personified it.

These are so funny!! Shiv's made me spit my water out I laughed so hard!!

Fred was nice to me this morning, but none of my at home weights count. I just stand on it to pi$$ myself off every day. The only weight I record is the one from my doctor's office every Monday morning but at least I get a preview.
