Default Oh, I'll do it tomorrow.

Do you have a list of things that you will do "tomorrow?"

I'm going to be honest- my to-do list for tomorrow has been growing since I started this weight loss journey this year. I speculate it is because I used to be able to convince myself to do things with a reward of food at the end. "If you clean that closet this afternoon- this evening we can go get some French fries and a shamrock shake later!"

Well- I'm not having fries or shamrock shakes anymore, but I DO still have things I need to do.

In a time management training a few months ago, they told us this:

An old saying is that "If the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long!" Your "FROG" is the one you are most likely to procrastinate on if you don't do something about it now! It is also the one task that can have the greatest positive impact on your life and results at the moment.

It has also been said that "If you have to eat two frogs, eat the ugliest one first!" This is another way of saying that if you have two important tasks before you, start with the biggest, hardest, and most important task first. Discipline yourself to begin immediately and then to persist until the task is complete before you go on to something else.

So...tell me...What are your frogs on tomorrow's to-do list? Would you like to announce them for accountability? Would you like a thread that monitors the progress on said frog?

Oh, and I was thinking about this, because today I forced myself to go to the bank, despite feeling very anxious and uncomfortable about it. Yup. Good times.

Also- I think this might be my life: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.co...-be-adult.html

I love hyperbole and a half!

My frog is working out, ever since I got my new job. I wonder if I need to start working out in the morning again...

Thanks for the new thread! Great idea

Lunar your threads and pictures always inspire me, make me giggle, or move me in some way. Keep them coming and thank you for being such a big influence over my journey!

On my to do list, it's Wed, which means morning workouts HAVE to happen through Saturday. I have got to workout before work, because every time I put it off and say I will get it done later, that never happens, and I am done compromising my weight loss because I procrastinate!
