Hello! I'm so glad to have found a group to partner with in losing weight on SB. A little background---I am 31, struggled with my weight my whole life. I have PCOS and I think that's definitely not helped my struggle.
In 2011 I lost 75 lbs with Ideal Protein and got down to my goal weight. That diet was a great tool to lose but it was impossible (for me) to stick with since it's so very strict. In the last 18 months or so I've managed to pack back on 40 of the lbs I lost.
After reading about many diets and talking to my husband, we both decided to do South Beach. It sounds reasonable and like something we can do forever. Here's to day 1 and starting a great new adventure!
