Default Salad VS Veggies

So I know we can have unlimited lettuce on the program but does that count toward the 2 cups of veggie for lunch and dinner if we want it to? Meaning if I have a huge salad for lunch am I still expected to top that off with an additional 2 cups of veggies or you have 2 cups of veggies and, if still hungry, all the salad you want?

Lettuce does NOT count as your 2 cups of veggies but if you put cucumber, purple onions, bell pepper slices, pickles, and mushrooms those would count toward your 2 cups of veggies for that meal

I would eat my veggies first THEN if you are still hungry eat the lettuce

The problem is eating out. I can get a salad anywhere but getting 2 cups of veggies is a bit tougher.

When I eat out I ask for extra cukes, tomatoes and any other veggies that we can have. If I know its not going to be the full amount I need I will eat some when I get home. You usually don't get all of your protein as well when you eat a salad out IF you are eating grilled chicken or steak salad

TG for unlimited lettuce. I deffo use it when I feel hungry, esp when I come home at night. Fave treat: Southwest cheesecurls with WF Chipolte Ranch dsg on top of a pile of lettuce. Feels like you are eating a ton!!!!!

FYI: Have you tried grilled romaine?? Grill (only takes a few minutes at most) with evoo. When done, add salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Adds a whole other dimension!!!!
