Today my body was exhausted so I decided to skip the walk and be very careful with my calories. Around 2:30 I got super hungry but resisted (well I had a small handful of minichocolate chips. I am sucking on sugar free lifesavers now which is helping. I have NO IDEA what to do for dinner though. I want something light since I didn't workout and I am just being super picky trying to figure something out.

I just walked into work and there was danish and chocolate chip cookies laid out and i'm just like... runnnnnnn!!!! haha

Anyway just needed to get that off my chest. I can't decide if I want to eat out or just eat something at home. What do you ladies think?

I would vote for eating something at home! You can control the amount of oil's, butter, salt that is going into your food.

Have you ever been on pinterest? As the queen of not wanting to cook (I loathe it entirely), I commonly go onto there and find a healthy recipe that is tasty and will be quick to make. Works like a charm for me.

I hope you have a good meal, which ever option you choose

OH OH OH! Forgot to add - Great job running from the danish's and cookies! I would have had trouble doing that.

Plan your meals ahead of time. It takes only a few minutes to plan your meals for the day. Leave nothing to chance. Plan ahead !

Just a warning, be careful with the chocolate chips! I had some for baking and I almost got into them, when I saw a tablespoon of them is 80 calories. That's a ton for a small amount!

As for dinner, I agree with the Pinterest comment. I've gotten so many good recipes from there.

have a salad. i am making the most amazing salads these days and i don't feel like "urgh... salad..." anymore...

also, i don't think sucking on lifesavers is a really good idea... eating sugar (or sweet stuff) makes you crave more sweet stuff, which means it's harder for you to resist... i would at least swap the candy for sugar-free gum, if you can't, but i think muching on chopped veggies or drinking hot tea is a much better alternative!

good luck

I LOVEEE Pinterest. I actually have the sugar free life savers and they help with my sweet tooth (I usually only need a little sweetness to satisfy). I was thinking salad but then couldn't decide what kind. haha I think I am going to do some shopping after work so hopefully I will be able to get some stuff to do more Pinterest experimenting. Salad does sound really good though so I am gonna look for one on there to try. I'll link whatever I try for you guys

I agree with bargoo, the key is plan and prepare your meals ahead of time. And also keep healthy snacks at your table at work..
