Default Struggling

So, I was doing really well, and was on top of my weight loss and workouts, everything was fantastic until end of December when I got a foot injury that prevented me from running, and then early January with a family thing that I don't want to get into. The events that followed all of this left me completely out of the game for a few weeks, and now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things which has proved challenging.

My injury hasn't completely healed and when I tried running again, it flared up. I was totally bummed and frustrated BUT I decided to fight it. I'm NOT giving in! I found a studio that does Hot Yoga and Spinning classes in a reasonable convenient location (since I don't have a car) and tomorrow I'm sticking it to my injury, I'm sticking it to the lousy eating that I've been doing over the last week, and I'm sticking it to laziness and self pity!!!!!!!!!!

By Feb 15 (in about two weeks), I will have turned all the bad into good and will be progressing towards wonderful things again.

Stay positive, I had injured my hip in December but kept doing what I could and watched my diet. Just be careful u don't want to prevent your injury from healing properly, or re injure yourself.

You can do it! I had a foot injury as well a few weeks ago and I'm still getting into the swing of things. Bikram and spinning sound good though, a lot less pressure on your feet that way. Good luck!

Your positive attitude is what will help get you through this! I am sorry about your injury, it is always a disappointment when we are thrown off track. Do tell us what you think of the hot yoga, I have been thinking off trying it but honestly it freaks me out a little! lol

Heal fast and good luck!
