Default Sugar smell...

AHHH!!!! We had gotten some kettlecorn over the weekend, and I had thought my husband threw it away on monday when we cleaned out stuff and replenished with the phase 1 stuff.....well.....my son just came home from school pulled it out and asked if he could have some....I said yes, and he starts eating it. I told him (mind you, he's 9 years old) that he had to go away and not eat it in front of me. He did...but now that's all I can smell in this darn house! I want to just go throw it in the garbage! I won't cave on having it, but still don't like having the smell in here...makes me want something now. AHHHHHHHH!!! Would it be horrible if I did throw it away? Yesterday, I made them finish the last of the ice cream so that it was gone, I just hate to throw away good food. KWIM. But..............

Can you go spray around the house with Lysol or an air freshener? Sometimes even popping a stick of sf gum in your mouth will settle those cravings.

Hang in there, and good luck!

Awesome job! Kettle corn is soooo addictive, you can't stop once you start, you definately made the better choice!

Glad it has passed and that you're feeling better! Some smells are more enticing than others and I think the k.corn probably rated pretty high on the "drive you crazy" list.

I always light a candle when DW has something I won't indulge in. It helps. The shower idea does too!

Maybe pop a mint and light a candle? Or eat something that is sf if you must? I don't know. *hugs* I'm sorry darlin. The stuff does smell fab, so I can see how you would struggle.
