Some of you old timers may remember me from a few years back. I sort of got caught up with life and let everything go. I made a half hearted effort at Weight Watchers, it works but you have to still track. And it you get sloppy about tracking and recording you know for some reason it just doesn't work.
yes, I know it's me not the program.
I think that the only way of eating that works for me is a lower carb/good carb type diet. Once I get past the phase 1, I feel so much better. A lot of my allergy symptoms lesson, I have more engery.
I have to work it out in my mind that this is the way I need to eat for the rest of my life and it's not punishment that I can't eat half a pizza or a plate of rice.. it's a way of life. If I were diabetic or had crohns disease I would need to permantly alter my diet. My problem is moderation, I don't do moderation very well.
I get on the slippery slope when I think I can eat eat just one because it's allowed in moderation. For me, I can't eat just one. It's easier to say no in the first place. Most of the time what I'm going to eat just one of isn't healthy in the first place.
So after gaining back everything I lost 6 years ago it's time to return to the Beach and stay here. Permantly modify my habits to make it a lifestyle not a diet.
