Default Soft pretzel from Whole Foods bakery

What is a good estimate for the jumbo soft pretzel from the bread/bakery section of Whole Foods?

I'm having one for lunch today - have been looking forward to one for months!

I just googled it and checked the food log on SparkPeople. The only thing close to Whole Foods was a recipe on their website but it doesn't say if it's the one they sell or a member submitted recipe. The ingredients list looked pretty healthy and the calorie count was 140 for one pretzel. The others I checked out ranged anywhere from 140 - 280. I wonder if they would have the information in store?

I looked up the "average all brands" info at calorie king for large soft pretzels (5oz): 483 calories.

No idea if that's comparable to the Whole Foods brand or not, since they don't have that info online. I think if you call the store, they might be able to give you nutrition facts (a lot of big store brand baked/deli goods do).

Thanks to all for your responses! I ended up using the calorie count per gram of a Superpretzel soft pretzel (160 cal for 64 g). Then I weighted the pretzel (which is HUGE) and it was 204 g. So I will go with a calorie count of 510.

Getting ready to sit down to eat it now - yum!

Me too! My kids love the ones from Auntie Annie's Pretzels, but they're sooooo buttery. Almost too buttery for me. I may have to seek out the WF one on a day when I've done a lot of cardio or something.
