Breakfast: IP strawberry banana drink

Snack: White chedder ridges

Cold medicine. Cough drops, Nose Spray. *sorry* I'm just being snotty today.
Hope you feel better soon. When I had the bug a few weeks ago I found that just eating the soups helped a lot. (No appetite, plus nothing tasted normal anyway). I'd steam my veggies and blend into the tomato-basil, green pea, or cream of chicken soup. With a few spices (I like curry & just a dash of cayenne) plus some dehydrated onion flakes, it's quite tasty. The chicken noodle soup packets also went down well when I was sick.
Plus - lots of tea and water. And remember that peppers, jicama, and broccoli are terrifically high in Vit C - a great way to get a natural VitC boost when you're sick with a cold.

My menu for today:
Breakfast:
French Vanilla protein shake blended into Chai tea, with dash of cinnamon.
Lunch:
Cream of Chicken soup, with 1 cup steamed celery blended in. (I need to do my veggie shopping early this afternoon, and will have to eat a 1 cup veggie salad when I get back - veggie supply is very, very low right now).
Dinner:
Experimenting this afternoon with making chili (omitting any beans). As it will contain tomatoes, I'll only be eating it once or twice a week. I'll make it in my crock pot and freeze the leftovers in individual size containers for future use. I'm craving a good chili - I hope it lives up to my expectations! So my dinner chili will include the req'd 8oz of extra lean ground beef, as well as 2 cups combined tomatoes, celery, onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
9pmish snack: ChocoRite Chocolate Supreme protein shake, warmed as a hot chocolate.
Breakfast- Cran Granita, loving it
Lunch- 1/2 Choc soy puffs and 1/2 PB puffs (like a Reese's in a bite!), zucchini, and a salad
Dinner- Turkey stuffed pepper and a salad.
Snack- Choc drink w/ some decaf PB coffee and 000 PB syrup.
