Anyone done Tabata training? They're offering a class at my gym and I'm wondering what it's like.

It's very, very difficult, but very effective!

I wonder what a tabata-style "class" would look like, though! It's hard to do tabata training for long - one tabata workout is usually 4 minutes long. So I wonder what the rest of the class looks like, and if you'd really be able to maintain that intensity for a longer time period.

It's extremely taxing on your body even hardcore athletes have difficulty with it, no joke.

That being said, I've done a "modified" tabata-style workout for less than 10 minutes (included warm-up and cool down) from time to time and was wiped out afterwards, seriously. And not to mention the extreme DOMS for a few days after that. But give it a try!

Modified meaning only 2 exercises used as opposed to 4 exercises.
