It's extremely taxing on your body even hardcore athletes have difficulty with it, no joke.
That being said, I've done a "modified" tabata-style workout for less than 10 minutes (included warm-up and cool down) from time to time and was wiped out afterwards, seriously. And not to mention the extreme DOMS for a few days after that. But give it a try!
Modified meaning only 2 exercises used as opposed to 4 exercises.
