when i started, i was aiming to run but it's the same idea....find out what you can do that gives you a good workout...walking 10 minutes? walking 15? fast pace or slow pace? whatever it is...find out what FOR YOU is a good workout that leaves you sweaty etc...then go from there, up the difficulty gradually, push yourself just a little bit more, let that become comfortable and then push yourself a little more...it's worked well for me so far
