I'm the same as you. I started at 253 2,5 years ago and I've only lost 55 lbs. I started college late and I have Hashimoto's, so I always go from my place to my parents and I always seem to be looking for a new endocrinologist. I usually stop dieting when I'm at my parents and resume when I'm home. It used to drive me crazy that I couldn't stick to a schedule and just be done with it. Now I'm over it.
I keep coming back and that's what matters. Just start making small changes and if you really want to lose the weight, you'll get back into it.
