The evening egg protein recommendation is 4 eggs and 2 egg whites. So, if you are going off of an equivalent 8 oz of meat protein, somewhere in the 3/4 of an egg range. Or maybe just round to the nearest egg or egg white as it suits your fancy.
I usually count one large egg as 2oz of protein. I like to keep a few hard boiled eggs or a batch of deviled eggs in my fridge as something to quickly grab.
so I went to calorie count to check protein levels on meat and eggs. The average for meat and fish options seams to be between 5.5 and 9 g per ounce. 1 egg is 6.3g. So I would say that 1 egg would fullfil the 1 oz you are short today.
I agree, my coach shared that 1 egg will equal 2oz of the protein requirment. SOmetimes I have one with my salad at lunch and then have a smaller peice of meat in the evening.
