Pria bars, small boxes of raisins, Kudos bars are some of my favorites to take along.

Most airports have Subways or other deli type places you can eat at. Just watch the mayo!

Default Vacation Time

eeeeaaaaccckkkk:
Six weeks vacation - I wish I knew what that feels like. I'd take my running shoes, because it would obviously be some beautiful scenery.

I usually pack snack bags with Kashi cereal & mix it with craisins & I'm sure there will be a market to get fresh items. My favorite breakfast to eat out is fruit & grits. (not available everywhere)

Have a glorious time!

When we travel I hate buying expensive & high calorie food in airports also. I pack peanut butter sandwiches on some "good bread"(measured portions of course) fresh fruit, bottle water, raisins, baked chips, pretzels, canned fruit or applesauce, craisins, dried cereal.....even a bag of lite popcorn! My husband doesnt even mind..............we set and munch and "people watch".

Just planning a little ahead helps you make better choices.and making up your mind in advance is also helpful!

Hope this helps!
