Default What's your favorite snack?

I often get bored of the same ol' same ol'...

So, what are your favorite snacks?

Athenos put out a feta cheese spread that's only 90kcal in 2tbsp. It's great with celery.

Laughing Cow Bleu Cheese with Kashi Crackers.

I'm stuck on 100 cal Oreo thin crisps and 100 cal bags of microwave popcorn. not together, of course.

Also, I like to get a bag of pretzel M&Ms because one bag has 150 calories. It lets me think I'm indulging when really I'm not.

Cheese sticks (60 cal),
sugar snap peas (25 cal/ cup),
sugar free jello jelly cups (5! cals/ cup),
astro fat free sugar free yogurt cups (60 cals).
Pistachios (100 cals per 50)

I also find that diet cola satisfies my sweet tooth just fine so I drink a lot of it, I know it can make you hungrier but that's not the case with me.

Oh and nonfat sugar free syrup lattes from Starbucks (90 cals for a tall, 160 cals for a venti)

The 160 is usually worked in as part of my lunch if I need a little more protein.

Glenny's ranch soy crisps - 9 grams of protein and you can eat 20 of them for 110 calories!

Dr. McDougall's Organic Instant Oatmeal - Light Apple Cinnamon - 120 calories, I like to mix it with a banana and apple or other fruit for a light dinner

Baby carrots
good for something to crunch on!
Raw Green beans

Snack Pack sugar free gel snacks - I try not to eat sugar free products, but for 5 calories and no aspartame, I do like these, strawberry and orange! there is also cherry flavor for 10 calories

Glenny's 100 calorie brownies
Fiberone 90 calorie brownies
these two are great for dessert, I prefer the glenny's cause they have peanut butter, chocolate, and blondie flavors, but the fiberone bars are pretty cheap!

Hope this helps!

Soy crisps! I buy the store brand (meijer) and they're super cheap and they have delicious flavors- ranch, sea salt and BBQ-yum! Plus they're only 120 cals and 8 grams of protein and 3g of fat for a whole ziploc baggie's worth.

Greek yogurt- I really love chobani but I will sometimes take other brand plain and mix in like a tbsp of sugar free jello pudding mix which thickens it up into a tasty treat (if you use the cheesecake flavor it thickens it up to just like cheesecake). I also really like the pistachio pudding and lemon.

String cheese- the meijer brand only has 50 cals

Fruit- I've been making kind of my own fruit salad lately that will keep a few days in the fridge and portion it out. I will use the no sugar added pear fruit cups and dump those in a tupperware and will add sliced banana (the juice from the fruit cup helps preserve them and keep them from browning and going bad) as well as some raspberries and blueberries. Super yummy once it sits for a couple hours and the flavors intermingle. I also love the 60 cal packs of prunes.

Frozen greek yogurt- Yasso makes a fairly tasty bar and I think they're only 70 cals.

Boca sausages- at only 80 cals for 2. They're quick only take a minute in the microwave and have that nice protein punch to stave off hunger.

Yesterday I tried mixing two teaspoons of almond butter with a quarter of a cup of plain yogurt. Then I dipped slices of apple into it. Really delicious and creamy, definitely going to have it again today. It adds up to 178 calories but it's really filling and healthy.

Also, grapes. Red seedless. Oh yes.

Laughing Cow garlic and herb wedge ~ I've sworn by this one for yeaaars.

1 serving of roast beef ~ I'm a meat kind of girl.

Broccoli & 1 slice of melted Velveeta ~ Another filling one minus the overload of cals, sugars, and carbs!

Zevia Italian soda ~ Because I'm going low carb, low sugar, finding this recipe via Google sure piqued my interest. Unfortunately, I haven't tried this yet.

I love the idea of mixing powdered pudding with greek yogurt!

I'm also a meat kinda girl, so beef jerky is a great snack for me.

I also like apple sauce. I buy those squeeze ones for kids (don't judge me, lol) and take them to work.

Frozen yogurt and Magicpop. I just found Magicpop a week ago and it's supposed to be only like 15 calories a piece (wheat and rice).

Even my picky roommate liked it!
