Default Back To the Basics

Here's a thread to get those who have been OP for a while and need a refresher or just a place to say " I need to go back to the basics"

What will you do to get back to the Basics?

Just for today I will follow the protocol 100%. I'm spending way too much money to sell the program and myself short. I both want and need to lose at least another 100 pounds and the only way to get there is to be dedicated.
Let's do this!

I just got home from Costco. I loaded up on ideal protein foods and forewent those “snacks for the kids” that often call to me in the evenings.

Great question! I was faithfully 100% OP during P1 - P3...then came P4 and I slipped here and there...I'm in the midst of a small reboot to lose the 7 I gained. Once that's gone I will go back to the basics.

1. Follow the plan...it works and should be trusted
Um...I think that's it!!! LOL

I am going to keep things simple for a while. I think I am getting tired of preparing veggies and eating salads. So I am going to get my veggies in with my spinach in my breakfast and lunch shake.

Today I am going to spread out my "chewing" meal a bit. I am going to wash lightly chop my 3 heads of spinach today. That way I can grab a handful and not eat sand for my morning and lunch green monster.

I had a bad weekend and I kicked myself back in gear yesterday. I am going to the store to load up on veggies and prepare some tonight for the rest of the week! I find if I dont prepare some veggies ahead of time I will either not eat them or grab "another" salad and that gets boring. This program works like no other I have tried and I am not going to sabotage myself anymore!!

Today I pre measured 2 days worth of protein to grab quickly. I split my protein into 4 servings of 4 oz. 4 oz of snack meat.... Chicken or turkey. and 4 oz hamburger patties. Easy to grab easy to stay OP

Today I start planning for what I will be eating while on my Labor Day weekend to the Oregon Coast. I am reviewing local menu's for the dinner's out. Planning how I will be transporting spinach and magic bullet for lunch and breakfast. I can do this.

nice thread...

I'm in maintenance, so things are less structured, but I think I've been slacking off on the water. I drink it, but probably not enough to compensate for the coffee. That, and I need to calculate what a typical day is for me in terms of fat, protein, carbs and calories. I really eat the same thing every day and stopped keeping a log, but need to stay accountable and check myself. I started to do the count, then forgot...
