looks like you could have 2 pitas??? and pretty close in comparison
The major issue is all the wheat, gluten, and corn ingredients. IP crepes are oats. Wheat metabolizes wrong for us on this program (even on alternatives). Can't give you all the medical explanation, but it's the wheat. Unfortunately, it's not always just about fat, carbs and calories. Would love to have something like that.

Keep mixin in the kitchen for us, rainbow.

Gee - thanks for that info Molly. I have been (just very occasionally - not even once a week - probably more like twice a month) having a Joseph's mini pita, which would be the same line as above, but mini-size. And wihtout running to my freezer to check the ingredients list, I'm 99% sure that they'll turn out to be wheat-based as well. I didn't realize that wheat is totally not allowed if we're staying totally IP. I'd better stop eating them - at all. Too bad - they made a nice 'rare' change of pace.

For the Dr. Reddy's one there seems to be a comma between soy and
flour. I wonder if they mean soy flour?
Oh I see below it says processed in a facility that processes wheat so that must mean there is no wheat in it.
Must be a misplaced comma, should be before water. If that is correct I'd say that one is OK.

If anyone has the IP BBQ Ridges - check the ingredients. I don't eat them, but saw the nutritional information for them on the idealprotein online store a while ago and as I recall, they had buckwheat flour, millet and possibly even regular flour. Are those all types of complex carbs that impact blood sugar, insulin, etc.?

UPDATE: Here's the ingredient list for hte IP BBQ Ridges - Whey protein concentrate (derived from milk), white wheat, triticale, oat, rye, millet, barley, buckwheat, brown rice, sunflower oil, BBQ seasoning blend (salt, sugar, spices, torula yeast, dehydrated onion, dextrose, monosodium glutamate, dehydrated tomato, hydrolyzed soy protein, citric acid, extractives of paprika, dehydrated garlic, maltodextrin, natural smoke flavour).

Given that the IP products have wheat and other ingredients that intuitively seem like they'd be off-limits, I think that either pita bread would be ok in moderation. I know this is not the popular opinion and I am relatively new to IP, so take everything with a grain of salt, but I mean the IP BBQ Ridges contain practically every type of flour known to man, and the IP pasta has wheat durum flour too! You can always try out the first pita bread and take notes and monitor if it triggers cravings and how you do weight wise that week.
