Rainbow--I love the idea of a bucket list! You are so creative!

Not much new for me today. Sticking to IP 100% and praying that these last eight pounds melt away quickly. Now that I'm getting close to goal, I'm starting to get impatient. I'm ready to start exercising in earnest so that I can tone up this new body of mine.

Morning all, I'm going to need to invest in some kind of yoga class ... or invest in 5 hour energy, because baking cookies is an understatement for the last week. NSV - DH admitted my weight had a lot to do with the kitchen "being closed" and now apparently it is open 24 hours a day...it's nuts. He even said that he didn't care if I lost anymore weight cuz I looked so fabulous as I am, which was ultimately the NSV yesterday.

Daily Weigh showed me back up the weight I lost since Monday, not freaked cuz I was s-i-c-k yesterday, we're talking stomach cramps, big D, exhaustion, the whole 9 yards, and I always seem to gain when big D is around, not sure what the heck is up with that (you'd think you'd lose more right?)

This morning I've spent 35 seconds making my coffee, and 20 minutes digging under the couch and/or TV stand as my dog drops his "squeakums" under them repeatedly. This last round was 10 minutes with me under the TV stand (about 3' wide and 2' deep) shuffling around with a victoria secret flyer trying to find the dang toy, at one point I looked up and had "Dante" our big white dog (owner of said toy), "Nero" our large black dog (wimp), and "Mokka" our bengal cat all standing in various positions around me looking either down at me (Mokka and Nero) or in the "hole" I was shoving the flyer into to get the stupid toy out (Dante). They make me laugh those three lol. Dante is so smart, if I tell him "Dante, it's not under there" he gives me this look that says "you're stupid" and proceeds poke his nose directly in front of where the toy is UNDERNEATH whatever furniture it is. Nothing is more entertaining than a 115 pound dog with his butt in the air and his head under a bed while he looks for a toy, just saying...Man I wish I had my camera with me that time!

In other news: DH had a tooth pulled yesterday and is feeling pretty crummy. He went in to get a permanent crown put on, they told him they still needed to take the impression and also that a tooth was ready to come out So they pulled it, yech! He'll get the impression the week we get back from Sturgis, and the final crown the week we go on our cruise. Poor guy is all I can say for him.

Work is gonna be nuts today, I NEED to get some stuff caught up and work ahead so I can have a lax week next week (since I'll be all YAY STURGIS!), such is life I suppose

Well, time to wake up DH...crazy that he wants to get woken up early with me in the mornings, but hey, whatever, apparently he likes me or something lol!

vet - woo hoo!! can't wait to see new pictures of you!

Kara - i know what you mean about the DH and baking. Same story here. Feels good to catch his interest again!

Also - one of our cats (Athena - we named her right - she's a smart little kitty) likes to play fetch. Yes a cat that plays fetch. She loves the little balls with a bell in it; she can pick it up in her mouth. She'll drop it by your feet then get in a crouch and wiggle her little butt like "c'mon Mom throw the dang thing!". Cracks me up too. She knows when we get the long 'stick' that we're going toy hunting and runs right beside us.

I saw yesterday folks were talking about ice cream makers. I have one that is a Cuisinart electric. Bowl stays in the freezer so it's always ready to go. You pour in the ingredients, turn it on and in about 20-30 minutes you have yummy soft serve. The kids like it that way sometimes; sometimes we freeze it first. I like making it from just simple fresh ingredients for them.

Got here this morning to single digit posts - yay for me! Staying 100% OP this week. Last week was travel and i have some issues with flying on an empty stomach so I ate more carbs than I should have. Gained a pound but its going bye bye now that I'm back home. Already almost back to where I was last Friday.

Have a great day OP IP day everyone.
thanks for being here!

Renee

Week three scale not budging? Down 8.8 lbs with 6 lbs the first week. I've been 100%. Starting to let the worries creep in. Since my hysterectomy a couple of years ago my weight jumped 10 then 20 lbs. I'm back at the first 10 where all the trouble started. In two years I havent been able to drop below 150 which is still a good 25lbs over weight. I've been good, but I guess I'm worried.

Also, question on recipes... I made the mashed cauliflower with leek soup. How do you count the pack if you are only supposed to eat two cups of veggie? Just not sure since its a whole cauliflower.

Thanks

Rainbow - All I did with the Potato Puree is mix it with a little bit of water to make a pancake batter and sprayed Pam and cooked it like that. I am still very excited I have found a "hamburger bun" that I like.

Liz - OMG girl!!! You are HOTTTT in those pink skinny jeans. You are so cute!!

Thank you all for commenting on my avatar. I figured I should post a recent pic and I just took that on a whim while sitting at my desk. I dont like the pic though, but thats all the time.

How is everyone doing today? I am so glad its Thursday even though I have a busy weekend ahead. Will be finishing up school supplies and uniforms this weekend. My oldest (a senior in HS this year) is going to a military camp next week with his football team so he'll be gone all week. I will miss him. It'll be the first time he is ever away from me for that long and he'll be 17 in 2 mths, LOL

Staying 100% OP and trying to stay out of this heat. Glad I have a desk job in a way.

Hope you all have a fantabulous day!!
