Switched weigh-in from Tuesday to Monday...so really its been 13 days OP....
Lost 15 lbs in week 1...
Lost 7 pounds in week 2...
So 22 lbs in 13 days and 7" lost (4" off chest and 3" off waist)...
I stick to the sheet (supplements, 4c vegg, 8oz meat, salad)...no bars or other stuff at all...no restricted items at all, except I do have Shirataki Tofu noodles twice a week now...they are 40 cal and 3 carbs, 0 sugar...so twice that per week.
I am hungry almost all the time. The only time I feel "contented" is at dinner. Tired, sluggish, easy to get dizzy...Other then that, doing pretty well.
I figured it out and my daily caloric totals run between 730 and 800 calories a day...except once a week I have sirloin steak 8 oz and on that day the total runs just over 900 calories.
Anyway...THANKS EVERYONE for your help and support and conversations. It is so nice to have folk's to talk to that are going through the same thing. My family are great & supportive but they don't really "get-it", they are thin and always have been. Anyway, You all help more then you know and Thank you.
Best wishes
Jake

Congratulations on your loss, how exciting! But, I wonder about being hungry all the time. This scares me! I am not that far in (running 100% clean that is), and I do feel hungry sometimes -- I sure don't want to spend the rest of Phase I (a long time for me) fighting hunger.
Here's my day: Almost always:
Shakes are EAS AdvantEdge Low Carb 4 carbs, 1 fiber, 0 sugar and 100 calories
9AM: 1 shake
1 vitamin and 1 potassium/cal
11AM: salad
Noon: 1 shake
1PM: 2 cups veggies
2PM: Salad
4PM: 1 cucumber (small with WF dressing)
6PM 8 oz meat (usually chicken, shrimp, or 95% ground round)
1.5 cups veggies
1 vitamin and 2 cal-mag
8PM: cucumber again
10PM: 1 shake and 2 cal-mag
Thats it. 2 times a week I add in the tofu noodles with dinner, 8oz, 40 cal, 3 carbs no sugars
I drink only water. And I mean nothing but water.
So in keeping with the program, I can nothing else to add to this....I don't even have rutabaga as its higher in calories and sugars...I stick with spinach, collard, swiss chard...all very low in calories and carbs.
Thus, I am hungry almost always....except dinner. OMG I do look forward to dinner! Its like a game everyday...trying to reach dinner alive...haha! Once I have dinner, evenings are A-OK till I go to bed around midnight.
Cheers!
Jake

Wow no bars. Is that mandatory or your choice? I am starting week 2 as of tomorrow and I do not find myself hungry like you. I do take 3 Potassium a day as I saw you only take 1. Your weight loss is amazing but I have a loooong time to go on Phase 1 and I know if I was as hungry as you made it seem this diet would not work for me. I have been surprised at how much I have not been hungry so I am sorry to hear how hungry you are. I have been eating a good bit of lettuce and drinking tons of water so I keep thinking those two things help me feel not so hungry but also I have two young kids so maybe I am always go go go that I don't have time to think I am hungry. But congrats again on your weightloss! I weigh in tonight for the first time and would love to see a double digit number like you had week 1.
I was hungry some of the time and my coach had me go to 4 packs a day instead of 3 until I got under 270. She was worried that the hunger was a sign of my body needing more protien. It worked and now I am eating 3 packs and very seldom get hungry. I sometimes forget to eat. I have been 100% for all but 1day of the last 21 weeks. Went to phase 2 while on vacation for 2 weeks (thats when I had to eat something not OP)and then back on phase 1.

No bars is my own choice, as they will knock me out of ketosis....as will any item high in sugars, even turnips and rutabaga which are on the allowed list. I am a scientist, in the field of Paleontology...I am very busy all day for the most part...and it has nothing to do with my being hungry. I am hungry because I am only consuming 700-800 calories a day (average) depending on which meat choice...and being in ketosis helps that hunger, but in my case, not enough help.

Thank you all very much! We are ALL winners here and all working hard to a common goal! How wonderful to have a place to come to and speak with others who are facing the same challenges and taking the same journey.
Thanks again!
