Extreme Hunger in the Morning
Since I put myself on a food schedule, I wake up ravenous every morning. This hunger has pushed my exercise schedule back an hour at least every day since.
Anyone else notice something like this in their lives?

What's your food schedule?
I woke up really hungry this morning, I don't know, I think I'm hungrier in the mornings if I eat later the day before.

Yep, always hungry in the morning. I think it's just down to the amount of time since I last ate - I get up and have breakfast at 10am, we've usually eaten the evening meal by 8pm, and that's fourteen hours between food. There's nothing in your stomach, of course it's feeling ravenous!

I'm always ravenously hungry the morning after a weight lifting session at the gym.
I'm always sure to have protein after my workout and drink plenty of water before, during, and after and eat more on gym days but I still wake up really, really hungry (and sometimes feel hungry just before bed too).
I have a rest day after lifting so since I don't have to worry about fueling up for strenuous exercise again I just have a nice breakfast with plenty of protein and eat balanced meals through the day.
Once I have breakfast I'm no longer in "urge to eat everything in sight" mode.

I have been feeling very hungry the past few days too. Only, it's later in the day. After lunch, I've just been feeling constantly hungry, but when I wake up in the morning, I'm not hungry at all. I've been eating the same way for months, and it just started in the past few days. I'm guessing it has something to do with TOM, so I haven't bothered upping calories yet. If it keeps up, I might increase a bit.

I have myself on a timed food schedule starting at 8:00am with cereal, milk, and fruit. Lunch at 11:00am. A protein shake/snack depending on what my workout schedule is for the day around 2:00pm. Dinner is around 6:30pm. Possible yogurt and granola around 8:00pm.

You should feel hungry in the morning. It is perfectly normal to be hungry after not eating for 12 hours, or whatever time you had your last meal.

I usually wake up starving! I think that it's just the time span between eating, I usually eat supper around 6:30, and don't eat anything after 8:30 which is probably why I'm so hungry.

Most days I don't eat anything until after 12pm, and then dinner around 6pm. I'm usually starving around 10:30pm like clockwork but I ignore it. I do my exercise around 7-8pm.

I have been starving the past couple days too. I have been eating the same number of calories, however I have been eating the majority of my calories in the evenings the past few days, not in the middle of the day like I am used to doing so I wonder if thats a factor. Up until now I was making myself eat in the morning.

I've actually always been this way. I always wake up hungry in the morning, so I eat.

I agree with sontaikle, I have always been hungry in the morning. Its usually the first thing I think about when I wake up, well besides getting to the toilet! When I wake up I usually eat within 40 mins, breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day!
