Default Blue Team 2012 Spring Into Summer Exercise Thread Week 6 (06/04-06/10)

For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs! Copy and paste the follow format and come back throughout the week to edit your original post. Let’s move those bodies!

Monday- Rest
Tuesday- Treadmill for 20 minutes; Fitness Classes- Cycle/Strength (60 minutes); Yoga (60 minutes); Zumba (60 minutes)
Wednesday- Treadmill for 5 minutes; Fitness Classes- Step (60 minutes); Bootcamp (75 minutes)
Thursday- Treadmill/Stationary Bike for 30 minutes; Fitness Classes- Cycle/Strength (60 minutes); Yoga (60 minutes); Cycle/Strength (60 minutes)
Friday- Rest
Saturday- Fitness Classes- Body Pump (60 minutes); Zumba (60 minutes)

Monday- 32 minute "Bootcamp Calorie Burn"
Tuesday- Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Level 1 (about 28 minutes)
Wednesday- 32 minute "Bootcamp Calorie Burn"

Monday- None
Tuesday- 12 km on bike, also brought firewood into the basement--about 10+ trips up and down a half set of stairs
Wednesday- None
Thursday- 12.58 km on bike, also chopped wood (and my back knows it!)
Friday- 13.47 km on bike, also brought in firewood into the basement--about 15+ trips up and down a half set of stairs
Saturday- None
Sunday- 13.01 km on bike, mowed lawn
