Default High fiber and bloating?

So, I've started eating breakfast (hooray!), which consists of a high fiber oatmeal and activia, and have increased my veggie intake (I snack on steamed veg most nights if I get a snack attack)...obviously this is a lot more fiber than I've had in many, many years.

Could it be causing my recent (ie: past 2 days) stint of bloating and uh...how to put this delicately...very frequent need to go #2...?

Yep, that would be it. LOL

I eat a lot of fiber, but have for a while so I'm used to it. But I also drink a lot of water... the key I have found with fiber is you need the liquid to go with it or it's bloat and constipation city, for me at least. LOL

I found I had more problems with the foods where it was added in, instead of in there naturally.. like the yogurts and ice creams, etc.

Yes, it takes your body awhile to get used to new eating habits. Do drink plenty of water to help the fiber to pass.
