Default Night binging..can't predict when it will happen

I am new to this and actually new to blogs in general. Has anyone used First Line Therapy? Like any food plan, I can follow it for a while..5 days and then I lose interest. I binged last night, got out of bed at 2 AM. No shred of good judgement at night like somehow those calories won't count.
Now that I'm older, I don't burn calories so it is discouraging to say "no" to my fav treats and still stay fat.
I would like to be able to write to folks rather than eat. I need a support buddy or buddies.

Welcome to the forum!
I have not heard of this diet plan. I just want to caution that some of these fad diets can actually do more harm than good.
There is a ton of information about many different food plans on this site. Pick a plan that fits in your lifestyle and you can follow long term. I chose calorie counting because it is free and flexible. It allows me to eat almost anything I wanted as long as it fits within my calorie range for the day and there are ton of free apps out there to help you track your food.
Give up the sugary drinks and drink lots and lots of water.
Incorporate some exercise into your weekly routine. You do not have to join an expensive gym try to walk more, use the stairs more, download videos off of YouTube or Hulu.com to work out to. There are a lot of things you can to do with spending a ton of money.
Lastly, if you have a bad meal, a bad day, heck, a bad food week. Do NOT let this be a reason to throw in the towel. Get back on track at the next meal. You can do this!!!
Best of luck to you!

Hey! I haven't heard of this food plan, what is it exactly? I'm with you, I'm a MAJOR night binger - I would love it if I could hire someone to man my kitchen door at night so I wouldn't sneak down to get a tray full of food to eat. What I feel is a feasible, sustainable way of losing weight, is counting calories. It helps you control how much you're eating, and it sort of really helps with binging too! I just started counting my calories 2 weeks ago, and I'll be honest, I've slipped and binged about three times...but that's good, I'm making progress! I usually binge every night or atleast every other night. And count your calories even when you do binge! Thats what helps a lot..to see a '3300' calorie intake after a few days of eating well, makes me feel horrid and less likely to binge the next day. Good luck!!
