I am on day 7 of South Beach. I started at 158 and this morning weighed in at 152, so I think the diet is working for me....again.
I say again, because I had gone on SBD back in 2003, got down to 127 and in some cases, wore a size 6!!
Unfortunately in 2006 I went on a dream vacation and ate my way across New Zealand and Australia. Came home and just kept eating. I think I was probably around 142 when we put in a new kitchen and I started making gourmet foods. Hence my ballooning up to 158.
The fact that I am now post menopausal and finding it harder to lose will not deter me this time. I am fed up with not fitting into size 12s. I think that was the breaking point.
So I hope you all wish me luck, as I do to you. And I think the fact that I am making this proclamation out loud, may help.
Have any of you gone off SBD, and then gotten back in with the same or, hopefully,
better results? Would love to hear about it.
