Hello! I've been lurking for a bit and figured I'd give a forum a try for support with weight loss.
I've been yo-yo-ing with my weight throughout my teens and 20s. Now I'm at the ripe old age of 26 and am at 210 pounds. While part of the reason I have a hard time losing weight is because of a medical issue, the biggest reason is because I haven't been able to consistently stick with any lifestyle changes. Now that I really am starting to feel older, the excess weight and my family's health history is starting to worry me. Something's got to give!
I haven't really ever had a support system when it comes to weight loss (most of my friends and family are at a healthy weight) so I'm hoping reading posts from other people will help me stay on the bandwagon.
